Originally from Costa Rica, she arrived in the United States as a teenager in search of greater opportunity. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Rider University and beginning her career in New York City, she made California her home in 1987. The courage, determination, and compassion that carried her across borders remain the foundation of how she serves clients and community alike.
As Founder and Principal Broker of Altamar Real Estate, Yami guides individuals, families, and investors through residential, multifamily, relocation, and international opportunities with clarity and care. Drawing on more than 35 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies including Procter & Gamble, Kraft Foods, and NBC/Telemundo, she brings seasoned market insight, skilled negotiation, and a deeply personal commitment to every relationship.
Recognized by RISMedia as a Real Estate Influencer, Yami is a Co-Founder of REAL Estate Pros Without Borders and the FIABCI-USA Los Angeles/Southern California Council. She currently serves on the boards of the California Association of REALTORS® and FIABCI-USA, and previously led NAHREP Orange County as President.

Olesya Drozdova is a Ukrainian born US REALTOR® who has been exceeding her clients’ expectations for more than 20 years. It is her passion and commitment to work with various demographics groups including foreign clients and mature adults. And work with an array of market segments such as relocation, investment, veterans, luxury, first time home buyers, multi-family, probate, and GREEN home clients.
Olesya believes in serving the real estate community as well as her local community. She was named an Influencer for two years in a row by RISMedia, has been featured in the Executive Agent magazine and holds a prestigious Excellence in Client Service award from Homes.com and Homesnap. As a graduate of the Leadership Academy at Orange County REALTORS, Olesya served as the Alumni Chair and has also served as the Global Business Alliance Chair, and Board of Directors at the local and state level as well as committees including Professional Standards and Leadership and Development.
In 2020 Olesya, along with four REALTORS® from CA, NV and AZ organized REAL Estate Pros Without Borders, a group of almost 3000 members from around the world. The same year Olesya participated in organizing Sothern California Counsil of FIABCI-USA and served as a Vice President for this newly created Council until 2022. Olesya is a member of CREA (Canadian Real Estate Association) and an Honorary Member of AFNU/URA (Ukrainian Real Estate Association), and, at different times, maintained membership at FIABCI, NAHREP, OCCREA and other organizations. In addition, Olesya participated at different real estate events as a speaker, and even traveled to Lviv, Ukraine, in 2023, despite war time, where she had the honor to speak at the XXVI International Real Estate Conference by AFNU/URA. Since June of 2023 she has been volunteering as an interpreter for NAR classes taught to the members of Ukrainian Real Estate Association by Mr. Furhad Waquad, an instructor with NAR, REBI, RRC, and created a volunteer interpreters’ team to better serve the needs of the real estate community in Ukraine during this unprecedented war time.
Over the years Olesya developed solid business relationships with her peers in the industry and with supporting businesses in the local community as well as all over the state, the country and international. In 2023 Olesya joined Altamar Real Estate and partnered with Yami Martinez, an experienced, talented, and successful global REALTOR®. Together they speak several languages and aim at provide an enjoyable, smooth, and memorable experience for every client.
In free time Olesya enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
